Jesus said, "The Son of Man came not to be served, but to serve." (Mark 10:45). The Church is the Body of Christ in this world, and each of us are members of it. As members of this Body, we truly are His hands, His feet and His eyes in our world. To be a Christian, then, is to be committed to action, to living out our faith through service to one another. We are the Church; we are the Body of Christ, and we are all here to serve. Every member has something to offer toward the Mission of the Church.
Our Apple Valley Community is full of opportunities to better develop our relationship with Jesus and with others through participation in our parish ministries. Ministry or serving is essential to the Christian life and the invitation to take part is constant and extended to everyone. We are all responsible to fulfill the mission of the Church and we all have a role. This is why we constantly invite parishioners to get involved in some kind of serving.
Please contact any staff member to learn more about serving. Apprenticing and training provided!
