Children’s Liturgy Of the Word (CLOW)
Children in grades K-6 are accompanied by our CLOW team following the opening prayers and they return to Mass prior to the Liturgy of the Eucharist. Parents are welcome to accompany their young children as well. This is an amazing opportunity for the young children of our collaborative to hear the Word of God proclaimed and then reflected upon in a format that upholds the sanctity of this portion of the Mass, yet simplifies the language and message so that our young children can celebrate the Eucharist with “full, conscious and active participation.” (Constitution of the Sacred Liturgy #14).
